Chalet Cretta Mour is situated in a stunning mountainside spot, conveniently located for the local amenities of Veysonnaz.
Travel
There are excellent travel links to Veysonnaz. Flights to Geneva, followed by a car journey of approx 1 hr 40. Train from Geneva airport to Sion 1 hr 40.
Flights to Sion are available during the winter season from Heathrow and Gatwick on a Saturday to Saturday basis.
Veysonnaz is a 15 minute taxi ride/drive from Sion
Flights to Milan. Train from Milan to Sion is approx 2 hours and 3.5 hours by car.
Use of car recommended to gain full benefit of the region.
An indication of the position of the chalet within the village is shown below. It takes about 7 minutes to walk to the main street which is the ‘Route de Pra’. There you will find a supermarket, boulangerie, and butcher, as well as a number of bars and restaurants and sports hire shops. Veysonnaz is on a steep hillside so it is a little faster getting home than walking up to the main street!
The telecabine is also marked on the map - it is possible to walk to it in about 10-15mins but its often easier to hop in a car for 2 minutes as its quite a steep walk.
